David Evans, General Director of Optim Project Management
With an extensive experience of over 40 years in the construction industry, David succeeds in managing a team of +100 who work in planning, design coordination, tendering, cost control and managing the construction of many impressive projects, with a management style based on teamwork and quality of service.
After practically travelling all around the world for the profession he chose – Great Britain, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine and Russia – David chose Romania in 2009, in full economic crisis, to launch his own project management business - Optim Project Management – which has become one of the greatest companies in Romania specialized in the construction and design fields.
After several years of consistent presence in the Southeast Europe real estate market, in Retail, Offices, Industrial, Logistics, Healthcare & Pharmaceutical, Residential, Hospitality, Education, Culture, Sports & Leisure sectors of expertise, Optim Project Management expanded its activity in the SEE region, with a branch in Bulgaria in 2017, and in Serbia in 2020, both in management and design field.
Significant projects, such as Continental Automotive Factory in Novi Sad, Galerija Mall Waterfront in Belgrade, The Q Residence and various office fit-outs in Sofia have been thus added to an already impressive portfolio, which includes hospitality projects such as InterContinental Athénée Palace Bucharest, The Marmorosch Bucharest Autograph Collection, Courtyard by Marriott Bucharest Floreasca, retail projects in several cities in Romania – for clients as Hornbach and Ikea, as well as office fit-outs for Amazon and Microsoft in Iasi and Google in Bucharest.
