Being a hotelier is equally my profession and passion in the meantime. With a career spanning more than two decades in luxury hospitality, I have developed a strong foundation in leadership roles across some of Europe and Africa’s most distinguished hotels. Switzerland has become my home, and my journey began in 2002 at the renowned Seiler Hotels in Zermatt, where I discovered my passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. My career path then took me from the scenic Wallis to the shores of Lake Geneva, where I held positions at the former Kempinski Le Mirador Resort & Spa.
Over the years, I further honed my expertise across multiple countries, including Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, and Tanzania with Kempinski. In 2011, I returned to Switzerland as Director of F&B in Zurich and soon advanced to Executive Assistant Manager at the Intercontinental Berchtesgaden Resort in 2013 and later on, preparing the handover of the same place from IHG to Kempinski Hotels and Resorts.
With a rich background of international expertise and a deep knowledge of every aspect of the hospitality industry, I returned to Switzerland in 2017, where I spent six years as Hotel Manager at The Chedi Andermatt. There, I played a leading role in building and driving the success of this luxury resort.
In 2024, I proudly joined Appenzeller Huus as General Manager, eager to bring my strategic leadership to one of Switzerland's most ambitious hospitality projects. The creation of this exceptional wellness destination, led by Appenzell-born entrepreneur Jan Schoch, has been a passion project of mine, and I am thrilled to contribute to its bright future.
