Ivan Vitorović, CEO, Mona Hotel Management Ltd, Serbia
Ivan Vitorović graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics, where he completed his master’s degree with a thesis on “Models of Managing Hotel Investments”. Vitorović has been employed at Mona Ltd. since 2005, where he has worked as a marketing manager, hotel director and sales and development director of the hotel sector.
Nowadays, Vitorović is the CEO of the Mona Hotel Management Ltd., where he is in charge of the business operations of all the hotels in the portfolio, planning revenues and expenditures of the company, developing new products and markets, human resources, as well as of further development of the brand and the company’s portfolio. Vitorović won Manager of the Year award in 2011. Vitorović is an active participant in the HORES business association, a member of the Advisory Board in Serbia Convention Bureau, certified trainer of the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) and member of the Management Board of the Serbian Marketing Association (SEMA).
Mona hotel management's vision is to develop and regionally position 2 hotel brands, Mona Plaza brand, full service hotel categorized with 4 stars, and Argo brand, limited service hotel categorized with 3 or 4 stars. Nowadays, company is investing in new hotel Mona Plaza in Belgrade, which will open its doors in fall 2019. Total investment of the project is 30 million euros.
In 2020, management is planning to invest in capacity expansion and brand repositioning of other company portfolio hotels at Zlatibor, Javor and Belgrade.
In addition, company aims to develop the new concept in Sirogojno region till 2020.
