Tankut Erkan, Principal Banker, EBRD’s Belgrade resident office

Tankut Erkan is a Principal Banker in the EBRD’s Belgrade resident office, responsible for the green economy transactions in the Western Balkans region. Previously, he held several roles in the EBRD’s Istanbul resident office and the headquarters in London between 2011-2018, and worked in the commercial banks in Turkey.

Tankut Erkan graduated from the Civil Engineering Faculty at Bogazici University in Turkey. He received his master’s degrees in Economics and Management from Humboldt University of Berlin, and Business Law from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2006 and 2011, respectively.
