Dieter Kornek has more than 20 years of experience in hotel development working in various senior management positions in international hotel groups. Starting as Director Development for Accor Germany & Austria in 1995 and after very successful growth of brands like IBIS, ETAP and Novotel Suite Hotels, Dieter Kornek joined in 2003 the “startup” Motel One being Director Development Europe for this innovative Budget Design brand and based in Munich. After nearly 50 new Motel One hotels have been established in Germany and Europe he joined Vienna based Falkensteiner Hotels & Resorts in 2013 and during his 4 years as Managing Director Development Falkensteiner also established lot of new resorts especially in Italy and SEE. In 2017 Dieter Kornek joined the biggest Tourism Company in Europe, TUI AG with HQ in Hannover Germany, and is now responsible for the expansion of TUI Hotels & Resorts worldwide. TUI is operating more than 400 Resorts and Clubs all over the world with brands like RIU (JV), TUI Blue, Club Robinson and Club Magic Life.
