Frida Hansen, Director Business Development, Steigenberger Hotel Group
Frida Hansen is the Director of Business Development for Steigenberger Hotel Group in Frankfurt. In this position she is responsible for identifying and sourcing international hotel development opportunities. She is involved in assessing financial viability, preparation of financial projections, competitive analysis & positioning, hotel development strategy & implementation, structuring & negotiating lease-, management-, and franchise agreements for Steigenberger Hotel Group.
Norwegian of origin, Frida completed her BSc in Hospitality and Administration Management with Jumeirah in Dubai in 2007. During her studies she completed an internship with Ritz Carlton in Barcelona, gained work experience with Choice Hotels in Oslo and spent a year at Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne. After completing her studies, she commenced her career with Wyndham Worldwide. During her time with Wyndham she was involved in expansion projects in the Middle East and Africa and later in Germany and Scandinavia.
Since joining Steigenberger in January 2014 Frida has been an integral part of the development team and proactively works on the international expansion of the group. Besides her day to day responsibilities, Frida is also spearheading the development of a companywide CSR program through execution of ISO14001 certification of the Steigenberger Hotel Group hotels.
In her spare time Frida enjoys an active lifestyle and combines running, yoga and tennis with a personal goal of holidaying in at least one new destination every year.
