Milan Babic, Managing Director, MONCORE, MonteNegro
With the BSc in Architecture from Westminster University and the MSc in Real Estate Economics and Finance from London School of Economics (LSE), Milan’s education was structured to create a strong foundation in both in engineering and finance.
After few years of diverse work, experience gained by working at multiple renowned architectural practices focused on hospitality, as well as a real estate private equity fund in London, Milan moved back to Montenegro and founded Moncore.
Moncore is a real estate investment company primarily focused on Montenegro’s emerging market, with intentions to apply a pan-regional approach across other Balkan markets in the near future. We provide design and consultancy services, act as local operating Partner and manage projects on behalf of our investors. In parallel, we co-invest in development projects offering opportunistic expected returns.
Moncore’s design services include architectural, structural, MEP and interior design. So far, we have developed and delivered complex projects through all design stages – from initial concept to construction drawings.
Our current investments include three residential developments, as well as a mixed-use resort project.
Our team originates almost exclusively from the region, combines strong local investment and operational experience with the best Western European practices in terms of due diligence, deal structuring, and project management and value creation capabilities.
