András Klopfer

András Klopfer (born in Budapest in 1980) is BWM Architekten’s retail specialist. After completing his studies in Budapest (HU), he worked for various architecture firms in Budapest, Kassel (DE) and Colchester (UK).
András joined BWM Architekten in 2007 and is one of the managing directors, together with Daniela Walten, of the sister company bwm retail, which he co-founded in 2013.
With bwm retail, András realises major shop concepts for international brands throughout Europe, handling all aspects from pre-design up to opening day. He has an extensive international network at his disposal, which is one of the key success factors of his many design-build projects. He continues to expand his professional network at trade fairs and conferences all over Europe.
Currently, he is focusing his attention on the challenges of shopping centre redesign.
