Mr. Szöcs worked 7 years for KPMG’s Corporate Finance department in Budapest and has established his independent consultancy practice in Marbella (Spain) in 2014. He is also the co-owner of Kari Inmobilien Investments, a boutique real estate agency in Marbella founded in 2001. During his career, he worked on large-scale mixed-use real estate projects in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
His assignments related to real estate took him to clients in the U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, Southern Africa, Morocco, Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia. He has prepared numerous feasibility studies, valuations, and market studies for large integrated real estate projects.
In the last two years, he worked on luxury real estate development with Lindner Group in Spain, mixed-use residential and hospitality development in Montenegro, La Zagaleta/Valderrama golf resort development on the Costa del Sol and mixed-use luxury real estate development in Lagos (Nigeria). Currently, he is also setting up a structure for a Canadian developer to use Securitized Token Offering in order to raise capital.
With his real estate agency he sold close to EUR 40 million worth of real estate in the past 5 years.
