REBEC 2020 online ”Meeting the Largest Challenge” Hotel Development Panel
After the premier REBEC online panel, we tackled one of today's largest challenges in the Real Estate area. On Thursday 30th April 2020 the second regional gathering of REBEC community was held under the title: REBEC online, Part II: Hospitality Regional Panel / Current and Upcoming Situation. Our speakers developed a dynamic and productive discussion about the current situation and extreme impact of COVID-19 on hotel industry. The impact on global economy and the immediate region will obviously be very deep and extensive. We exchanged ideas and experience in relation to the crisis in hospitality, its numerous challenges but also focus on numerous opportunities to appear in upcoming months. The panel was divided into five thematic units:
- Program of economic measures in the region, country by country
- Prospects for the upcoming tourist season
- Similarities and differences among regional hospitality markets
- Priorities in hospitality tendencies in the region
- Recommendations for future activities
