"FIDIC Rules" Presentation @ REBEC 2018
Perceiveing the processes happening in the Serbian real estate market and the SEE region and comparing the certain applied rules and procedures, one of the REBEC’s topics for this year is reserved for the FIDIC model curently in use. In the last two years, the local real estate market has been in great growth, and had become very attractive for investment. Increasingly investors are coming in and this fact is effecting Construction engineering industry in general, especially on operations, its employment and availability.
It has already become common to use FIDIC contracts and it is also interesting to comment on their current application in Serbia. Given that there is an increasing number of experts who have entered into FIDIC contracts, this topic is no longer actual, but it is still interesting and recommended for presentation for these meetings.
A lecture/panel on the application of the FIDIC contract will be held on Tuesday 19 June at 12:00 am. Moderator is prof. Nenad Ivanišević, Ph.D from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade, and the confirmed speakers are: Mrs. Ivana Panić from Law Office Moravcevic Vojnovic, Mr. Nikola Matić from VMS, Mr. Vladimir Milovanović from 3 Lite and Mr. Mikhael Pokataev from Azvirt.
We will have presentation about the development of the current models of the FIDIC contract, the beginning of application for the latest solutions, examples on high/low buildings construction practice and what are the most frequent, almost daily issues, encountered in the application of the FIDIC module contract. As expected, this should be one of the most interesting panels at REBEC regarding the subject and confirmed speakers.
