Sašo Rink graduated in 2005 at the Faculty of Law University of Ljubljana, after practice at Higher court in Ljubljana passed a judicial exam in 2009 and acts as a director of the Public Housing Fund of the Municipality of Ljubljana from 2013, at the moment beginning his second 4 year mandate ending in 2021. He began his real estate career as a president of the Council for housing policy at the City council of the Municipality of Ljubljana in 2006. Mr. Rink is a president of the Supervisory Board of the Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia and a member of the Working group Housing within the EUROCITIES initiative. The Public Housing Fund of the Municipality of Ljubljana is operating 4100 public rental apartments in the capital of Slovenia -  Ljubljana and, regarding the shortage it is facing, would need the same amount more to satisfy accumulated demand. Off duty he is active also on the field accessibility -ensuring a barrier free public and living space as a president of the Council for the removal of architectural and communication barriers within the Municipality.
