Each of us likes to remember our beginnings, and so do we. Until recently Irundo was known very well as Zig Zag. Our beginnings take us back to 2011, when full of passion and enthusiasm, we wanted to start a modern company for renting apartments which would follow global trends.
With a smile and pride, we remember those beginnings and we are grateful for everything that we learnt along the way. We have built the valuable knowledge, the experience which we have gathered on our way, as well as the deep understanding of the wishes of our guests into the foundations of Irundo.
At Irundo we believe in the warm feeling of home, where we happily want to return after an exciting day spent exploring new places. That feeling of safety and comfort helps us even more to immerse completely into the very essence of the city, which we have visited.
It is because of this that our brand is named after the swallow (in Latin hirundo), a migratory bird which always returns home to its nest, and it can also be pronounced as I-run-do because we always want to encourage you to go out and get to know the city through the eyes of its residents.
This is why our apartments are located right in the heart of the city and invite you to explore the city’s famous features, as well as those only known to the residents of the city. We want you to taste the best local dishes, buy the freshest vegetables at local markets, be inspired in the city’s galleries and museums or have fun in the nightclubs and bars.
