Vladislav Lalić, IKEA Property & Expansion Manager for South East Europe
Vladislav Lalić started his career at IKEA, where he has spent over 20 years so far performing different functions.
Lalic was born on September 22, 1969 in Belgrade. He started schooling in Belgrade but continued it in Stockholm (International School of Stockholm), and later went on to the American Deere University in Athens where he studied economy and graduated in 1991.
His first business engagement with IKEA he had in Belgrade in 1991, after which he held managing positions with this famous Swedish company in Romania, Turkey and Spain. In Madrid he also functioned as the Regional Procurement Director for Western Europe.
After IKEA decided to re-launch its activities in Serbia and the former Yugoslav republics, in 2009 Lalic returned to Belgrade. He is currently in charge of land purchasing, construction and managing IKEA’s facilities in south-eastern Europe.
Lalic lives in Belgrade and is the father of two children. Apart from Serbian, he is fluent in English and Swedish and also has a functional knowledge of Spanish and Romanian.
