Dilek is the current Director of Development for Orbis/ Accorhotels in the South Eastern Europe region.
Dilek who fell in love with hospitality during her engineering studies started her hospitality career with Accor in 1988 in Turkey and than moved to the UK where she held a large number of management positions including Multi-site General Manager and Area General Manager for Ibis and ibis budget UK, both in London and the wider UK regions; her most recent position in the UK was Operations Project Manager where she successfully lead the transfer of 22 hotels to different new owners.
Dilek, who is a graduate of IHMP- International Hotel Management Program by Accor Academy – ESSEC – Cornell has passionately been involved in various projects over the years; the Finance & F&B Finance Module Trainer of ADP, Quality Committee, Planet 21 or Fastcom Relay Group are just a few to mention. Dilek in her spare time enjoys reading, flying, mentoring young talent, raising funds for charity, discovering different cuisines, gardening and always looking learning something new!.
Dilek is a British citizen and speaks fluent English and Turkish.
