Bogdan has more than 10 years of professional experience including tax department of a ‘Big Four’ firm. Prior to being named to managing partner of Crowe Horwath BDM, Bogdan was also tax partner of an international tax consulting practice in Belgrade. Bogdan is proficient in Serbian and English.
Experience
Providing tax advisory services for clients in various industries in terms of tax planning and tax optimization (M&A, transfer pricing, financing options, capital investments), conducted tax returns preparation/review (corporate income tax, VAT, property tax, personal income tax…);
Supporting market entries to foreign investors;
M&A advisory including post acquisition integration;
Assisted clients’ established/enhanced tax related processes in order to provide compliance with relevant tax legislation. Activities included – setting up of a documentation control process, control of tax returns process, and minimization of tax exposure risk;
Tax optimization for expatriates with different aspects of engagement with Serbian companies; cross border planning in terms of personal taxation; tax compliance processes with Serbian tax legislation, administrative assistance with legal requirements for obtaining relevant permits in Serbia;
Performing transfer pricing analysis for large multinational companies in Serbia;
Performing various internal/special audit assignments, covering various industries;
Representing clients in tax proceeding processes before tax authorities.
