Dieter Bullinger is principal of Debecon GmbH (Ltd.) Dieter Bullinger Consulting for better shopping destinations, Lutzenberg/Switzerland, a retail real estate advisory boutique founded in 2012.
Debecon’s consulting activities are focused on developing new shopping centers and on restructuring/ modernizing existing shopping centers and larger retail real estate assets in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. In addition, Debecon concentrates on practical advice regarding operation and management of retail real estate, in particular shopping centers, and regarding asset and transaction management of such real estate. Furthermore, Debecon also offers retail letting services and advises local authorities on how to reasonably integrate retail assets into urban structures.
Before founding his own company, Dieter Bullinger worked more than 22 years as project developer
and asset manager for shopping centers in different European countries with ECE Projektmanage-ment Hamburg/Germany (1990-2001) and SPAR Austria Group/SES Spar European Shopping Centers (2001-2012).
Prior to that, he advised public entities on local and regional economic development matters with
Prognos AG Basel/Switzerland (1978-1986) and was director of the Economic Development and Promotion Office of the City of Freiburg i. Br./Germany (1986-89).
