Amalija Pavić

Amalija has 9 years of experience in advising the government of economic policy issues and harmonization of the economic regulations with international standards and rules. For the past 6 years she has been advocating for the improvement of the business environment of behalf of largely international business comunity in Serbia. The key areas covered range from finance and fiscal policy, labor relations, protection of intellectual property rights, real estate regulations to health care policy. Since 2006, she has been working for the American Chamber of Commerce at progressively responsible positions, in managing the work of regulatory committees, doing policy advocacy and cooridnating government relations for the organization. For the past year and half she holds the position of the Acting Executive Director at Government Affairs and Policy Advisor at AmCham. From 2003-2007, she worked as trade policy conslultant on USAID and EU projects providing tehnical assistance to the Serbia’s state administration, and since 2005, on ad-hoc basic, to the Montenegrin state administration. Her assignments covered advisory services on the accession on WTO, accession of Serbia to CEFTA agreement and the SAA, in relation to trade in services. Apart from formulating proposals for regulatory reform in line with the WTO rules, she participated directly in the bilateral WTO negotiations on services of behalf of Serbia, and later also Montenegro. Amalija holds M.Phil. in Political Science, and M.A. in Economic from Central European University in Budapest and B.A. n Economics from Belgrade University. 

Branislav Bugarski

Mr. Bugarski was born in Novi Sad, on April 11th 1975. After finishing highschool in his hometown, Mr. Bugarski, went to Berlin, Germany, where he studied economic sciences at ,, Fachhochshule fuer Wirtschaft”. In year 2000 he has graduated with emphasis on marketing, small and medium enterprises in developing countries and internationalization and globalization of economic processes. As an assistant director in company Wohnbauten Comfort GmbH, Mr. Bugarski has gained experience in the field of management, development and trade of real estate. In companies Pixelpark AG, from Berlin and Net Trade d.o.o. (as an representative of the Serbian company for German) he further expands his knowledge and expertise in the area of internet and software technologies. Mr. Bugarski has joined the team of Privatization Agency and of the Republic of Serbia, and its branch office in Novi Sad in the year 2003, on the position of project manager assistant, and has worked on the auction privatization of Vojvodinian companies as well as in the process of preparation of necessary privatization documentation. In year 2004, Mr. Bugarski was employed in the Vojvodina Investment Promotion-VIP, on the position of foreign direct investment advisor. As an FDI Advisor he was entrusted with following tasks: promotion and development of investment projects, with main aim of attracting foreign direct investments into the region of Vojvodina, facilitation of potential as well as existing foreign investors in Vojvodina, provision of support to local self-governments in development of business and innovation projects for SME development.

Vojislav Glavinić

Vojislav Glavinic joined Delta M Group, the largest private company in Serbia, in November 1999. First major position was in Delta Agrochemical as deputy CEO where he coordinated 3 different production facilitiesFollowing this, in May 2004, he moved on to position of a CEO of Pekabeta Belgrade and C Market Belgrade later, being responsible for the running and coordination of all activities in retail, reconstructing the business and adopting and merging with Delta Maxi Group. In January 2008 he became CFO of Delta Maxi Group being in charge of budgeting, controlling, strategic decisions and running the process of company selling. After Delhaize took over, in August 2011, Mr. Glavinic became VP of strategy development and planning for of Adriatic area. In January 2012 Vojislav Glavinic became CEO of Delta Real Estate Group. Currently, Delta Real Estate’s portfolio includes retail, office, hotel, and residential developments as well as prime locations all over the region with the value of cca 1 billion euro. Delta Real Estate’s first major development, Delta City the first international style shopping mall in Belgrade, has been named the Retail Project of the Year at the annual Europroperty.com awards for Southeastern Europe. Mr. Glavinic holds an engineering degree in agriculture economy from the University of Belgrade.

 

Milan Simić

Milan Simic is certified project manager professional (PMP and PRINCE2 certificates) with more than 10 years of experience in project and program management, leading various high priority projects within various international, national, governmental, profit and non-profit organizations. Ability to work in challenging environments with limited resources and under tight deadlines he can credit to his previous engagements including the project manager position on telecommunication projects in Africa, project manager position on the UNDP Anti-discrimination project and the position of Adviser to the Minister for Human and Minority Rights. Prior to his government experience Milan started his career in NGO sector dealing with various human rights issues in the Balkans. Furthermore, Milan is always oriented toward continuous expertise upgrading, so at the moment he is attending MBA studies on Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University.

Vladislav Lalić

Vladislav Lalić is part of the IKEA family for nearly 20 years. He started his career in the early nineties, as a business developer for the market of former Yugoslavia, where he was responsible for day-to-day care and development of IKEA business. After that, he takes a number of opportunities within the IKEA business system and as a  Regional Purchase Manager becomes responsible for market development and expansion of first IKEA in Romania, Turkey and later in South Western Europe. From 2009, he became Regional Property & Expansion Manager for IKEA South East Europe in charge of the coordinating and implementing the overall IKEA Property & Expansion strategy within the region (Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Romania). Currently, as a Regional Property & Expansion Manager he is responsible for land acquisition, store design & planning, construction and facility management of IKEA stores in SEE region. Vladislav has respectable international education and BA in Economics from American college of Greece. He also speaks five languages and is passionate about fitness, jogging and cycling. Father of two boys, currently living in Belgrade, Serbia.

 

Andrew Peirson

Current Responsibilities

Based in Belgrade and Sofia, Andrew is responsible for the Jones Lang LaSalle operations in Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia and Montenegro. He set up the Sofia office in early 2008 and the Serbia office is now in its 10th year of operation.

Experience

Andrew has over 7 years of experience in the CEE&SEE real estate markets, together with 4 years in the United Kingdom. He joined King Sturge in 2001 and relocated to the Czech Republic office in 2005 to run the Agency departments in Prague, focussing mainly on office agency. Since 2008 he has been responsible for the Bulgarian office and has focussed on valuation advisory together with retail leasing and office acquisition work. In August 2011 he became Managing Director of the newly merged King Sturge and Jones Lang LaSalle offices in Serbia and Bulgaria.In the UK, Andrew acquired offices for companies such as Mapeley, Land Securities, Orange and Konica Minolta. In Prague he was responsible for the office, retail and industrial teams and focussed mainly on office disposals. Clients there included Avestus, ING Real Estate, Karimpol, EPD, Portland Trust, AFI Europe and AVIVA.During his time in Prague he led disposal strategies and implementations on some of the largest real estate developments in the country, and managed 15 agents across all commercial sectors.

In Bulgaria and Serbia he advises clients including Europa Capital, GE Real Estate, GTC, Delhaize. AFI Europe and various banks and funds on valuation and advisory work, and has advised tenants including Ernst & Young, IBM, PWC, Danone and Shell on occupational matters.

Positions

Andrew joined King Sturge in the UK in 2001, having previously worked for two years at Storeys SSP. He has since worked in the Czech Republic and Slovakia offices and today is responsible for Jones Lang LaSalle offices in Bulgaria and Serbia.

Tijana Vujović

 

Prior to joining Confluence as Head of Retail and later C.E.O., Ms.Vujović was an employee of MPC Properties, where she focused on evaluating and identifying potential investment opportunities for the joint venture with Merrill Lynch. Before moving to Belgrade, Ms. Vujović spent 3 years with GE Real Estate in both Prague and Milan. In Prague, her role centered on the underwriting of investments originated in Central and Eastern Europe, with a core focus on valuation analysis. While in Milan, Ms. Vujović primarily worked on the risk assessment of potential acquisitions on behalf of the portfolio. She is a graduate of Bocconi University, with a degree in International Economics and Management.

 

Edith Illmaier

Edith Illmaier was born and raised in a small town in Austria, called Kapfenberg. She studied and graduated at the Faculty of Law, Karl Franzens University- in Graz (Austria)in the year of 2000.Already during her studies she worked for Krammer&Wagner (www.krammer-wagner.com). After graduating she started to work as a lawyer in Krammer&Wagner in their office in Kapfenberg. In 2004. she went to Vienna and took over the Krammer&Wagner office there. After some years in Vienna, Krammer&Wagner decided to enter the markets of Croatia and Bosnia&Herzegovina and Edith Illmaier became responsible for these countries. During the last year, Krammer&Wagner got the offer from a Germany/Serbian joint venture to develop a shopping center in Belgrade. After decision of entering the Serbian market, Edith Illmaier also became in charge for Serbia where she became a partner in Krammer&Wagner&Illmaier.

Miodrag Gazibara

Miodrag Gazibara joined Delta Real Estate in 2008 where he currently holds the position of Director of Sales and Leasing. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Winona State University with a double major in Marketing and Production & Operations Management. After graduation, Miodrag joined a privately-owned real estate company in Chicago where he worked in commercial and residential real estate for a period of 5 years. Upon his return to Belgrade, he joined Colliers International as the Director of Retail where he consulted clients on numerous projects, including both Delta City shopping malls. At Delta Real Estate Miodrag is in charge of setting up leasing strategy for all future developments, deciding on concept design and positioning for each project, valuations, and asset disposal. Stephen Brooks

Stephen Brooks was born in North London in the early sixties, he is middle child of three boys, his father was a bus driver and his mother worked in a factory in Tottenham, London. After leaving comprehensive school at 16, Stephen worked in a bank then an insurance company-both of which he hated. Clemens Schranz

Born and raised in the self-proclaimed CEE wine capital – Kutjevo – Zlatko is a wine and investment enthusiast. He started his career as an equity analyst in the Raiffeisen Group and has learned about the regional stock markets the hard way. While he is mostly working on debt transactions in professional life, equity investments remain his true passion. Zlatko joined the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in 2005 and works as a Principal Banker in the EBRD’s Property & Tourism sector team, leading a number of transactions from the Adriatic to Siberia. Gary Morrell was born in Nottingham and  has been working as a journalist in the CEE region for several years. He is currently based in Hungary and is Editor of the Europaproperty CEE Real Estate Guides.  

 

Luke Dawson

 

Luke joined Colliers Macaulay Nicolls Inc. in 2004 based in the Vancouver office.  Most notably, he was heavily involved in the partnership transaction with FirstService, leading the global coordination of the due diligence process. As Director of Corporate Development, Luke became heavily involved in operations analysis and international merger and acquisition activity while working closely with CMN’s Chief Operating Officer.  In 2007, Luke was appointed as Regional Director of Operations for Eastern Europe and relocated to Prague.  He built the regional support team for Colliers operations in Eastern Europe and is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations across 13 countries and 17 offices.  In 2012, Luke took over the role of Regional Managing Director for South East Europe and also local Managing Director for Serbia.  Luke is currently based in Belgrade.Prior to joining Colliers, Luke worked with two of Canada’s leading private commercial real estate development and investment firms.  He specialized in investment analysis and project marketing. Education University of Victoria - Bachelor of Commerce (Honours).

Miloš Vučković

Miloš Vučković is a Senior Partner at Karanović&Nikolić. Miloš graduated at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade. He joined Karanović&Nikolić in 1997 upon graduation. After compliting his training period he qualified as an attorney at law in 2000 and became a Partner in 2004. Mr. Vučković has extensive experience in advising clients on all matters relating to commercial law but in particular in the areas of real estate, energy and infrastructure, mining, banking and privatization, FX transactions, project financing. Dejan Spasojević

Aleksandar M.Đelić
