Marija Rabrenovic, COO, MediGroup, Serbia
Since 2019, Marija Rabrenović is in the position of COO at MediGroup, the largest private health care system in Serbia and the region. MediGroup’s more than 20 facilities are located in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis and Subotica, where citizens have access to the highest level of health services in more than 40 medical areas.
Marija has been in management positions in the HealthCare area since 2013, starting with the position of Director of the Special Hospital for Gynecology "Jevremova", Director of the Special Hospital for Ophthalmology "Milos Clinic" (2015-2018) and Executive Director of Medigroup Hospitals (2018-2019).
Earlier, she practiced law in Serbia and USA. In the period 2008-2013, she managed European Investment Bank’s projects, whose goals of modernization of school facilities in Serbia were successfully implemented.
In 1991, Marija graduated from the Faculty of Law at Belgrade University. She completed postgraduate studies in business management (2010) and academic specialist studies in health management (2011) at the Belgrade’s Faculty of Organizational Sciences.
Marija is the President of the Presidency of the Association of Private Health Institutions and Private Practices of Serbia since 2020. She was also a member of the Executive Board of the Association of Private Health Institutions and Private Practices of the Republic of Serbia (2014-2020), a member of the Medical Forum of the Republic of Serbia at the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Serbia (2015-2018), and a member of the Health Chamber of the American Chamber of Commerce, as a Medigroup’s representative (2015-2019).
