Tobias recently joined EasyHotel Plc and is responsible in heading up their development strategy, rolling out the budget brand via acquisition, lease and franchising opportunities, focusing on primary and secondary cities in D-A-CH, CEE and CIS regions.
 He is also Managing Director of B2H Scout (Business 2 Hospitality), an independent advisory service providing development and support for both corporate and resort developers and investors in hospitality. To date lodging concepts have included a wide spectrum of hostels, serviced apartments, budget economy, midscale hotels, independent and branded properties, from boutique/ designer to midscale full service resort hotels with rental and exchange concepts; new build, conversions and mixed-use throughout   the D-A-CH, CEE, SEE and more recently the Caribbean, Thailand and Adriatic region - focusing on Croatia, Montenegro and in Serbia alternative lodging concepts. Clients have included TUI Hotels & Resorts, NOVUM Hotel Group, Leonardo Hotels, Solutions HI®, 25hours, prizeotel and citizenM.
For the past few years Tobias has also been Operating Partner for Cornucopia Capital Ltd. and Hotel Advisor for AUCTUS Capital Partners AG respectively, both specialized in boutique funds focused on deal origination, financing and investment with particular expertise in the property, retail and leisure sectors. In particular on asset led deals, including hotel portfolios, branded mixed-use resorts and stand-alone hotels throughout the Pan-European region.
Previously, Tobias worked as Chief Development Officer for BMHG - Berlin Munich Hospitality Group, a German based hotel investor / management company, developing and operating branded hotels, was Senior Consultant at Treugast Solutions and Project Developer at Loginns Immobilienentwicklungs GmbH developing over 15,000 m² of midscale, all year round Austrian resort with rental & exchange concept. Prior to that he was with Wyndham Hotel Group (formerly Cendant) as Director International Development for Central & Eastern Europe developing and expanding their franchise and management systems in CEE region, working closely with its' affiliate company RCI Europe, world’s largest vacation exchange and membership business, including Novasol and  Landal.
During almost 25 years of experience in the hotel sector, he also held several senior roles in Sales & Marketing and Operations Management within the luxury hotel and tourism industry in Germany, USA and United Kingdom with Dolce Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels Group, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the Savoy Group, Peninsula Hotels and the Bayerischer Hof in Munich.
Tobias holds degrees and diplomas from Westminster College, London and Cornell University, Ithaca, USA. Based out of Hamburg, he is also an active member of the Cornell University Alumni, currently as Regional Director of the CHS German Chapter and a member of CHS AlpAdria & Eastern European Chapter, the latter, which he co-founded in 2007.
