Ivan Josimović
Founder and General Director, SEE project, Serbia
Ivan is an experienced business consultant from Belgrade, with a rich career in development and project management in Southeast Europe. He graduated from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences of the University of Belgrade, where he gained the foundation for his successful career in business consulting and management.
Back in 2007, he first gained experience in the field of digitization of business processes as part of Telenor's CRM team. Since 2013, Ivan is the owner and works as a business consultant for SEE project, a consulting and development company based in Belgrade, which is focused on cooperation in Southeast Europe. Ivan is responsible for communication with state institutions, local governments, CSO’s and the business segment. His key responsibilities include setting up innovative environment institutions, cluster and network development, economic analysis and needs assessment, as well as project management. Within the SEE project, Ivan participated in significant projects such as the promotion of the Innovation Fund Program of the Republic of Serbia, the Development Fund of the Republic of Serbia, and the Cross-Border Cooperation Program. Ivan also played a key role as a project manager in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia, where he supported strategic management and capacity development for EU integration, with a special focus on increasing local capacities and improving the system of business processes within the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Ivan worked closely with local governments, especially as a project manager for the Municipality of Stari Grad in Belgrade, where he provided operational management, program development and promotion services for the Eureka innovation laboratory "NewGenerationSkills". His responsibilities included mentoring the participants, monitoring project writing, field monitoring and preparing a detailed training program.
With his rich experience and expertise, Ivan contributed too many successful projects and initiatives, providing a significant contribution to the development and improvement of business and innovation capacities in Serbia and the region with a special focus on business digitalization.
