Aleksandra Kostic is the director of VIMAB Serbia, a member of VIMAB Group Sweden, a European manufacturer of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Power Plant Controller (PPC) solutions for the integration of renewable energy sources and management of energy systems. Since the establishment of VIMAB Serbia, it has been leading international projects in the field of renewable energy sources, energy storage and advanced software solutions for power systems. Her professional involvement is focused on the development of flexible energy solutions, the integration of solar power plants and battery systems, as well as the digitization and optimization of their operation.
Through her work with international clients, she is focused on the implementation of integrated energy solutions that connect solar energy, battery systems for energy storage, EMS platforms for managing energy flows and PPC systems for control and stability of power plants. She actively collaborates with project developers, the academic community, international organizations, EPC companies, investors, energy system operators and public sector institutions on projects of energy transition, development of sustainable energy infrastructure and increasing the flexibility of the power grid throughout Europe.
Her experience includes connecting technology, financing and regional cooperation with a focus on the development of commercially viable energy projects that, through optimization of production, storage and energy management, bring greater efficiency, stability and profitability to clients and partners.
