Having completed his master's studies in Financial Management at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest in 2004, Bogdan Maruneac began his professional career as an accountant and soon moved to the position of financial analyst at Trust Consulting, where he was in charge of key financial operations and reporting.
After that, Bogdan assumed the role of senior budgeting and reporting analyst at Colgate-Palmolive Romania, where he advanced to the position of CFO and was responsible for building and implementing the company's financial strategy. Through a series of international assignments, including short-term assignments in the US, Switzerland and Belgium, Bogdan was able to establish long-term goals and strategies for European operating companies.
From 2012 to 2016, Bogdan advanced to the position of Director of Commercial Controlling at Deutsche Telekom Romania, where he was responsible for the financial management of mobile and fixed telecommunication services, value management, optical deployment controlling and 4G/5G business case management.
His career reached a new peak in 2018 when he took on the role of Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Bakcell Group in Azerbaijan, where he was in charge of 4G/optical project finance, business transformation and the "size-to-value" business model. Since November 2022, Bogdan is the founder and head of Growth Funding Consulting, an advisory practice focused on the optimization of business, financial and control processes of IT, renewable energy and professional services clients.
Bogdan Maruneac brings his rich experience and expertise to A1 Serbia with the aim of contributing to the further growth and development of the company, implementing strategies that will improve business and ensure its sustainability for a longer period of time.
