Nebojsa Nešovanovic started his professional career in 2003 at the company SHM Smith Hodgkinson in Belgrade in the position of analyst, from where he advanced to the position of deputy director. At SHM Smith Hodgkinson, Mr. Nesovanovic was in charge of strategic consulting, real estate appraisals and quality control of valuation reports within the department, as well as liaison with clients and business partners.
From the position of deputy director of SHM Smith Hodgkinson, Mr. Nesovanovic in 2007. moved to the position of junior director of valuations at King Sturge, which merged with Jones Lang La Salle in 2011. Over time, Mr. Nesovanovic was promoted to national director in charge of professional services in Southeast Europe. Since June 2018, Mr. Nesovanovic works for the company CBRE as a senior director in charge of professional services in eight countries of Southeastern Europe, i.e. for Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bulgaria and Albania.
Areas of specialization Mr. Nesovanovic's services include consulting services related to real estate, with a focus on the analysis of development projects and evaluations of larger commercial real estate portfolios. Mr. Nesovanovic has extensive knowledge of the real estate market in the Southeast European region, which he acquired through working on a wide range of jobs over a period of over 20 years. He participated in almost all important projects on the real estate market in Serbia and prepared/supervised the preparation of over 10,000 appraisals, feasibility studies, market studies, and best and most cost-effective use studies for various types of real estate.
Mr. Nešovanovic had an advisory role with the Government of Serbia during the adaptation of a large number of laws, including the Law on Spatial Planning and Construction and subsequent by-laws, the Law on Land Conversion, the Law on Appraisers and many others. He has published numerous articles in prestigious business and real estate magazines.
