Dragan was born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1964. He started his professional carrier as a navy officer back in 1985. His curiosity and exploratory spirit brought him to IKEA, the Swedish home furnishing retailer in 1991. For nearly 30 years, Dragan has been working in different senior positions of which 19 years as a CEO in several countries in Central East Europe: Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and in South East Europe: Croatia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia. His last post was in China as Vice President of IKEA China.

During his carrier, Dragan has taken part in establishing 28 new stores in above-mentioned countries and opening 4 new markets in South East Europe: Croatia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.

His main expertise is coming from general management, retail establishment & retail operation, marketing, strategy implementation, project & risk management, land negotiations, real estate and high-level public affairs.

Dragan is native Serbian, living and working in Belgrade. Fluent in English, Polish, Czech and basic Russian.

Since January 2020, Dragan is a partner in Goodfaith Strategic Advisory, located in Belgrade.
